Where do you start???
Life has been so crazy the past six months when I haven’t been able to share! From loosing my mom to finding a property (finally!) in the Ohio area that I have fallen in love with to finally being ready to start the next chapter in life and closing some doors in my lifelong hometown of Topeka, KS.
I have been busy with all of the above not to mention a few trips thrown into the mix made for some highs and lows of life that are worth sharing!
Let’s start with life…and get everyone up to speed a little bit. I have spent half my time in Ohio for quite some time now and have genuinely fallen in love with the state and Cincinnati.
There are a lot of reasons!!! I would love to come back and discuss in the future more of a comparison of Kansas to other states when comparing commercial property tax, residential property taxes, car tags and taxes, cost of doing business in Kansas (there’s a good list I’ve got going) marijuana legalization. There is a good chunk financially when looking at states not Kansas.
But the exciting part of it for me is location! A lot of the things I enjoy doing Topeka doesn’t allow for quick access or ease. Airport, sports stadiums, concerts, casinos, large cultural events and a different part of the country I genuinely love and a lot of people I also love and enjoy.
I want to downsize in Topeka my buildings and especially with two of the three, pass the torch. Let someone else take them thru the next decade and hopefully do living quarters upstairs. If I am able to sell those two I will probably keep Serendipity and plan events I love doing.
What do I want to do in the future if I’m not dealing with Pinkadilly? I still will have Serendipity, and also want to work on a couple projects with friends coming up, so I’m figuring out exactly what this next chapter in life entails. Plus, until I have the perfect person for the two buildings, and a signature Pinkadilly will continue on!
I appreciate the response oh so very much. It’s been fun to see who is signing up and following along. Hopefully you found the subscribe button and follow me on IG/Facebook or TikTok.
Until next time,
Jenny
