Total eclipse

I did it again! I missed last Friday and I’ll tell you what I’ve been struggling to get this one done also but I’ve been having a heckuva good time during the past two weeks

First off I love when guests come to visit. I think I have mentioned that multiple times and so if you’re reading this and your friend of mine, where you love to travel, and I absolutely love to have visitors! I love to share this new part of my world to share a city that I think it’s really spectacular not to mention all the weird things that I learned from the city is just a fun thing to share with people that you enjoy.

The week before was a busy week kept me on my toes having Shannon‘s mom in town and also trying to attend sporting events, including taking Shannon‘s mom to her first MLS soccer game. Which, we did laugh that she genuinely loved and I think she would be an avid soccer fan with us!  We have a season tickets in the tunnel club, which really makes for a special experience especially if they have never attended a soccer game. The tunnel club here, and Cincinnati is where the players come and go from, and their families would hang and eat and socialize and drink and such and all food and drink is included with our ticket prices.

It is fun because as other season ticket holders, you see them for multiple months years in a row, so it is kind of fun our seat mates next to us. I have literally watched their children grow just by attending soccer events.

A friend of mine invited me to another Reds game. They happen to have amazing suite access, so, of course I said yes and tagalong! That was kind of my first suite experience for going to the Reds game and I ran into really big dude in the hallway down the suites. Found out was Orlando Bloom, who learned he plays for the bengals.

My friends, Max and Monica arrived to be able to catch the solar eclipse after realizing that we were perfect in the path of totality and had to make a week of it, which of course always thrills me to have houseguests! We did head out to Canton Ohio to see the eclipse at our friend Michelle‘s house, which gave Max who is the eclipse enthusiast, at bit more length exposure and it was really a cool experience to see feel and witness other people seeing.

Max and Monica are complements of travel also! Shannon and I met Monica while we were on a cruise years ago and we have stayed in touch and spent quite a bit of time together since we first met and genuinely enjoyed them. I always preach about travel and adventure and it’s reasons like that. Its the people that you will meet and the things that you get to do are so worth getting out and about.

It’s their final day so we are going to head out and see what else we can find. Until next Friday!
